So since my nails grew longer, I’ve been doing more to them. They are kind of unhealthily yellowish, but I am not too keen on regrowing them again. So I have decided to cover them up with nail polish, so I will never see the yellowing. (YAY!) So I got bored of the Totoro theme and took it off, then couldn’t think of what to do next. Originally I was going to do some sort of elaborate nail art again, but it was late, and I didn’t want to fuss over it. plus! I wanted to do this reversed french thing for a while, so I thought I’d try it. It’s still kind of hot for this kind of colour, but then I wear mostly dark colour clothes anyways, so it doesn’t really matter. I matched the silver (Chinaglaze) with the black (Rimmel). I don’t remember their names, but it’s black and silver, use what you have, they can be done in different colour combos too! Anyways, I free handed this, so the lines are not all perfect and clean, the left hand is much better than the right. There are a few nails on my right hand that didn’t turn out so well because the curve at the bottom wasn’t done (I personally think it’s better when the top colour (black) is in more of a oval shape, rather than flat at the bottom). The reason I free handed this was because 1. it was late 2. I didn’t want to fuss with tape 3. it was pretty easy, in my head anyways.
ok, less typing more pictures. Here they are. These are both of my left hand, one with flash, the other without (so the silver is more noticeable and not reflecting the flash). Oh! and I also put a round crystal thing on my ring finger, just at the boarder of the two colours (again, more noticeable in the non-flash picture)
I really need to get some painter’s tape…
Alrighty then! Until next time live well and shop LOTS!
